Hey! Say! JUMP collaborates with “Kansai Johnny’s Jr. with Nakayama Yuma” through relay broadcast
Hey! Say! JUMP, who is currently on their nation tour, held a live concert at Yokohama Arena on May 5th, and this concert was connected with the “Kansai Johnny’s Jr. with Nakayama Yuma“ concert, which was held at same time at Osaka-jo Hall, by relay broadcast.
They performed many songs all together, and Yamada Ryosuke said with big smile, “I got goosebumps due to the double amount of audience.”
There was a corner for NYC during the concert, and they performed “Yume Tamago” together (Yamada Ryosuke and Chinen Yuri were in Yokohama, and Nakayama Yuma was in Osaka). Nakayama said, ”I’m here alone, but I can feel the two.” NYC members also talked about a baseball player, Saito Yuki, who uses NYC’s song “Yuuki 100%” as his walk-up music, and said they would love to invite him to their concert someday.
On this day’s concert, there was a happy surprise waiting for Yamada Ryosuke in which 15,000 audience members in Yokohama, and another 15,000 in Osaka, sang a birthday song for him since Yamada will be 18 years old on May 9th. Yamada was moved by this and said, “Two years ago, I stated that I would be super tall and handsome when I became 18, but I could not make it yet. So I need a longer time (to make it true). It’s said that men will grow until 25 years old, so I will keep the hope.”
It was also announced that Hey! Say! JUMP will release a new single, “OVER“, on June 29th, and member Yaotome Hikaru explained that the song has the message of “Sadness and suffering stop here, so let’s step forward.”
